Overnight Camp
$60 / night
payment assistance for people facing financial difficulties available
Our morning starts around 7am with potty breaks and then breakfast in their crates. Overnighters will be included in the morning Field Trip if appropriate with the day's Day / Cub Campers. If I determine an Overnighter would benefit from an alternative activity that day for health or behavioral issues, they will be set up with a chew or enrichment toy in their crates while we are away from Camp.
All Campers will be taken from Camp to a secluded forest access trail for a 2-3 hour off leash pack outing (2-7 dogs incl. Pack Rangers). Dogs will practice recall with distractions, engagement with handler, calmness and polite play behavior around a variety of dog temperaments and how to be a respectful trail user. When we arrive back to Camp, Campers will be welcomed into our home to rest and relax. Dogs that will benefit from quiet time or that need to eat lunch will be set up in The Cabin for a climate controlled crate nap.
The later part of the day will be focused towards more individualized intentional care. Solo trail hikes, on leash walks in the neighborhood and local dog friendly stores, training and grooming sessions will take place during this time.
After the Day Campers have left in the evening, Overnighters will be fed their evening meal in their crates and allowed to digest before final potty breaks and some snuggle time. Lights out, all snug in their crates, around 11pm.
